March 20, 2015 The Director of the KarRC RAS Institute of Economics Yuri Saveliev took part in the ceremony of diplomas to graduates of bachelors and specialists of the Karelian Branch of the Russian Academy of National Economy and Public Administration under the President of the Russian Federation.

March 18, 2015, Deputy Director for Science E. Zhirnel, Scientific Secretary L. Kulakova and researchers A. Guchek and M. Dyakonova of the KarRC RAS Institute of Economics participated in the round table "State support of socially significant business projects", organized jointly with the Ministry of Labour and Employment of the Republic of Karelia.

March 13, 2015, young scientists of the KarRC RAS Institute of Economics participated in an interdisciplinary seminar for young researchers Karelian Research Center of RAS. The report on "The Influence of the dynamic parameters of the magnetic field of the earth on the cardiovascular system of the inhabitants of the Republic of Karelia" was discussed.

March 12, 2015 The Head of the KarRC RAS Institute of Economics Department of of Regional Economic Policy O. Tolstoguzov attended on meeting of the Public Advisory Council at the Karelian Department of the Federal Antimonopoly Service of Russia.

March 12, 2015 the General Meeting of the KarRC RAS Institute of Economics collective of young scientists was held. Chairman of the Young Scientists Council E. Mikhel presented a report on the activities of the Council in 2014. An voting procedure was held during the meeting in order to elect new member of the Council. S. Tishkov was elected to the Young Scientists Council of the KarRC RAS Institute of Economics.

March 10, 2015 Research associate of the KarRC RAS Institute of Economics E.A. Mikhel attended the meeting of the Public Advisory Council under the Russian Federal Migration Service of the Republic of Karelia.
The organization of free counseling of migrants about the Russian legislation was presented at the meeting dealt with.

March 6, 2015 The KarRC RAS Institute of Economics hosted a presentation of Kostomuksha Brend, presented by the team leader of CityBranding Company (Moscow) Vasily Dubeikovskii. Brand development began a year ago then the city of Kostamuksha became the winner in All-Russian final competition "Support of Russia" in the nomination "The best municipal practices to support and develop small and medium businesses."

March 4, 2015 The KarRC RAS Institute of Economics held a public lecture: "The crisis as growth’ factors: Short stories about how Russian companies act in crisis" in the framework of the program "You - Entrepreneur". Director of the Institute Yuri Saveliev has presented examples of the most successful companies that are considering the crisis as a new challenge to improve business performance and create new growth points.
