Information on changes in the law on citizenship of the Russian Federation was presented by the Deputy Head of the Russian Federal Migration Service of the Republic of Karelia A.K. Ermakov. The amendments relate to the duties of citizens of the Russian Federation to notify of a residence permit or other citizenship. The speaker also presented the activity results of the commission for the recognition of a foreign citizen or stateless as a carrier of the Russian language in order to obtain Russian citizenship in 2014.
