March 13, 2015, young scientists of the KarRC RAS Institute of Economics participated in an interdisciplinary seminar for young researchers Karelian Research Center of RAS. The report on "The Influence of the dynamic parameters of the magnetic field of the earth on the cardiovascular system of the inhabitants of the Republic of Karelia" was discussed.Scientists from the KarRC RAS Institute of Biology presented their project. During the discussion of the prospects for the implementation of the presented project were identified areas of cooperation with specialists from other institutions. Institute of Economics, Karelian Research Centre of RAS received a proposal to make an assessment of the socio-economic impact from the negative effects of fluctuations in the geomagnetic field on the cardiovascular system of the population of the Republic of Karelia. Scientific work within the framework of interdisciplinary collaboration in this area will be continued.
