March 18, 2015, Deputy Director for Science E. Zhirnel, Scientific Secretary L. Kulakova and researchers A. Guchek and M. Dyakonova of the KarRC RAS Institute of Economics participated in the round table "State support of socially significant business projects", organized jointly with the Ministry of Labour and Employment of the Republic of Karelia.

The main issues for discussion was the existing and emerging types of business activities in the social sphere of the Republic of Karelia, examples of building an effective business model in the implementation of social projects and public incentives to youth employment in the implementation of social projects.

The roundtable was attended by young entrepreneurs, representatives of the Ministry of Youth, Physical Culture and Sports of the Republic of Karelia, heads of business incubator of the Republic of Karelia, representatives of NGOs.
