March 4, 2015 The director of the KarRC RAS Institute of Economics Yuri Saveliev took part in the workshop on optimizing the cost of the regional authorities of the Republic of Karelia, organized by the Committee on State Building, Local Government and National Policy of the Legislative Assembly of the Republic of Karelia. Yuri Saveliev made proposals to improve the effectiveness of the authorities, the optimization of the structure and functions of the executive authorities, as well as on the development of standards for the formation of estimated costs for the activities of the authorities.

February 27, 2015 The KarRC RAS Institute of Economics held an information seminar in frame of federal program "You - Entrepreneur" for students of the University Lyceum. The seminar was attended by high school students in economics. Scientific secretary of the KarRC RAS Institute of Economics Lyubov Kulakova told students about the possibilities of the program, organized and planned activities.
