Representatives of Coordination and Advisory Councils for the development of small and medium-sized businesses with municipal administrations and urban districts reported on their activities, problems and suggestions, including within the framework of the possible anti-crisis activities.
The roundtable was also attended by Deputy Minister of Economic Development of the Republic of Karelia Sergey Alimpiev, head of the State Committee of the Republic of Karelia on cooperation with local authorities E. Smirnov, president of the Chamber of Commerce of the Republic of Karelia A. Pankratov, director of the Regional Business Incubator V. Nikolaev, Deputy General Director of JSC "Development Corporation of the Republic of Karelia" P. Konnov, members of the Public Chamber of the Republic of Karelia, the staff of the Institute of Economics of Karelian Research Centre of RAS.
The roundtable participants made suggestions for the revitalization of the Council of Entrepreneurs in the areas of the region. One of them was a proposal to hold a conference of the Council of Entrepreneurs, which will be organized in the first half of 2015.
