28-29 April 2015 the personnel of the KarRC RAS Institute of Economics took part in the V Annual youth scientific and practical conference "Institutional development of the regions in terms of modernization of the Russian economy", which was held in Petrozavodsk State University with the support of the Oxford Russia Fund.

Head of Department of the KarRC RAS Institute of Economics P.V. Druzhinin took part in the International Economic Symposium dedicated to the 75th anniversary of the Faculty of Economics, St. Petersburg State University. The event included three international conferences, one of which - "Sustainable Development: the society and the economy", where P.V. Druzhinin spoke on "Development of models to study the effect of structural changes on the economic development of integration associations on the example of the EU." Research on the effectiveness of the change of integration associations for inclusion in their new countries will continue under the leadership of P.V. Druzhinin in the framework of the project supported by the RFBR.

April 24, 2015 Research associate of the KarRC RAS Institute of Economics O.V. Potasheva took part in the research work "The economy of the region through the eyes of high school students" organized by Scientific-Educational Centre of Economy and Information Technology in ISEDT of Russian Academy of Sciences in the framework of development of cooperation among regional academic institutions in the direction of youth work.

April 24, 2015 the KarRC RAS Institute of Economics participated in the international conference "New models of cross-border and inter-regional cooperation", organized by scientific and educational center "Inter-regional cross-border cooperation" of Belgorod state university via video bridge.
