T.V. Morozova - Head department of the institute spoke on the topic "Problems of institutions of cross-border cooperation." Participants from Belgorod, Kharkov, Simferopol, Petrozavodsk and Finland have exchanged views on the current stage of development of cross-border cooperation between border regions of Russia. President of Crimean Academy of Sciences of RAS V.S. Tarasenko noted the importance of organizing such sites in the context of new geopolitical conditions.

The event was attended by E.A. Prokopev, E.A. Mikhel. Scientific Secretary of Institute L. Kulakova announced a scientific and practical conference with international participation "Perspectives of social and economic development of border regions" which will be held in the Institute of Economics of Karelian Research Centre of RAS on June 10, 2015 and invited the participants to take part.
The representative of the Committee on innovation Chamber of Commerce of the Republic of Crimea, invited participants to the September conference in Crimea to discuss the problems and prospects of development of the regions.
