The Working Group discussed the participation of business and expert communities of the region. The national rating of investment climate in the Russian Federation is carried out by the Agency for Strategic Initiatives in 2014 and is a tool for disseminating successful experiences in the field of regional investment policy.

January 14, 2016 meeting of the working group of "Institutes for business" from the Project Office for the implementation of the best practices of national investment rating held by the Ministry of Economic Development of the Republic of Karelia (Evgeny Zhirnel’ (Vice-Director for Science in the Institute of Economics of Karelian Research Centre of RAS) was the chairman). The meeting was devoted to the implementation of the Institute for Regulatory Impact Assessment (RIA) of regulatory legal acts in the country.
