September 18, 2015 meeting of the expert group on monitoring the implementation of the "standard of the executive authorities of the subject of the Russian Federation to ensure a favorable investment climate in the region" in the Republic of Karelia was held.
Implementation of the provisions of the Investment standard for the approval of investment strategies in the Republic of Karelia (which was represented by Deputy Minister of Economic Development of the Republic of Karelia Sergey Alimpiev) was reviewed by members of the expert group. It was decided that the document complies with the requirements of the Standard. Thus, the adoption of the Investment Strategy Investment completed the implementation of the standard in the Republic of Karelia. Panelists discussed the next steps for the organization of monitoring of the implementation of the Investment Standard in the Republic of Karelia and the results of the National rating of the investment climate in the Russian regions in 2015. The Republic of Karelia was ranked 44th among the 83 subjects of the Federation.
