September 17th, 2015 a training seminar on the implementation of the sociological research ‘Men and gender equality’ was held at the Institute of Economics of Karelian Research Centre of RAS (in the framework of the international project "Joint Action for Equality"). Marina Pisklakova (Director of the National Center for the Prevention of Violence, "Anna", a researcher in the Institute of Socio-Economic Studies of Population) presented the report ‘Actual problems of gender and violence in the world, in Russia, in the Republic of Karelia’. Training of interviewers on the questionnaire "The relationship of parents and children in the family" was held at the seminar.
