September 15 Anastasia Vasilieva and Svetlana Stepanova (Institute research staff) took part in the seminar ‘Using tourism resources for regional development’, organized by the Museum ‘Kizhi’ and the ANO ‘Japan Center in St. Petersburg’.
Questions of practical use of the tourist resources and the international experience of tourism development, the role of UNESCO World Heritage Sites and intersectoral collaboration in the development of tourism and methods to promote tourism, taking into account peculiarities of the territories were represented at the seminar. Lecturer - Masayuki Matsumura, a specialist in the management of small and medium-sized companies, a consultant for the restoration of the business of small and medium companies (Japan).
