April 16, 2015 The KarRS RAS Institute of Economics held the V Conference of Young Researchers "My economic discovery". The speakers at the conference were pupils from 6 schools in Petrozavodsk. School pupils presented their findings and got recommendations from jury, which consisted of Teacher from 37th Gymnasium E.N. Saveliev, Deputy Director for Science E.V. Zhirnel and a Senior research associate at the Institute A.A. Shishkin.
Presented researches were devoted to the problems of management, choice of future profession, financial literacy of students and their parents, the demographic situation in region. The work of young researchers were recommended for presentation at the VII Youth Economic Forum to be held in November 2015. Each participant will receive a certificate. The best reports were awarded with diplomas. First degree was awarded report Humar Bagirova and Eugene Hakobyan "Theory" X "and" Y "as a method of improving productivity" (School ¹48), Ekaterina Shestakova got a diploma for the second place for the presentation on career-oriented work of PetrSU (School ¹17), Alina Shipovskaya (School ¹2) got the third place. She told about the financial literacy of students. Milada Soloeva (University Lyceum) has got book as a gift from the Organizers of the Youth Economic Forum received for the report "Internet-purse."
