Seminar participants were presented by entrepreneurs, representatives of the Ministry of Agriculture, Fish and Wildlife Service of the Republic of Karelia, Ministry of Labour and Employment of the Republic of Karelia, State Committee of the Republic of Karelia on cooperation with local authorities, local government administrations, members of the Public Chamber of the Republic of Karelia. Scientists and experts discussed the specifics of rural business and its role in the development of rural areas, the effectiveness of state support for small and medium-sized businesses, as well as develop proposals to enhance entrepreneurial initiatives in rural areas to the state authorities and local self-government in the field of business support in the rural areas.
