The discussion about the formation of a regional system of independent evaluation of the quality of social services in the field of social service was attended by Deputy Minister of Health and Social Development of the Republic of Karelia Olga Sokolova, specialists of the Ministry, heads of social service agencies and community representatives.
The expert group on the independent evaluation of the quality of the Public Council is composed of 21 people, including representatives of public organizations, state and municipal institutions of social protection.

January 27, 2015 Employees of the Institute of Economics of Karelian Research Centre of RAS Maria Dyakonova and Raisa Belaya took part in a meeting of the Public Council in the field of social protection and social services under the Ministry of Health and Social Development of the Republic of Karelia. An independent system for evaluating the performance of institutions providing social services in the Republic of Karelia was considered.
