Scientific publications

The study demonstrates that even if ecological economists have produced some valuable scientific results, research in this field is still characterized by low-identity, weak, and underdeveloped methodology. Proceeding from certain features of the knowledge domain in question, the current institutional environment for scientific activities and the dominant ecological worldview, we substantiate a mesomorphic methodology for studying self-evolving, interdependent and continuous ecosystems, which involves combining the logical and the sensory forms of cognition and applying methods that respect the incompleteness and subjectivity of available
data. Recommendations were formulated for modifying the institutional environment for scientific work.
