The treatise summarizes the narratives of the essence of organic production, the nature and types of the related conflicts of interests. The market of organic products is shown to enable its participants to satisfy a variety of contentually different interests, but they contradict each other, and the contradictions can not be fully resolved. A concept of building a development mechanism for the organic products market is substantiated. Arguably, a global paradigm shift is needed in the production and consumption of foods and agricultural raw materials. Priority directions for improving the institutional space of the Russian Federation to ensure the development of the organic products market are outlined. Producers of organic goods are provided with recommendations for enhancing the production and marketing efficiency.
