February 19, 2015 The KarRC RAS Institute of Economics held a business game "Who are you, Mr. Entrepreneur?" The game was attended by young entrepreneurs, students, active and creative youth of the city of Petrozavodsk. There were more than 25 participants.

February 13, 2015 The young scientists of the Institute of Economics, Karelian Research Centre of RAS participated in an interdisciplinary seminar for young researchers of KarRC RAS. In the framework of the first seminar the researcher of the KarRC RAS Institute of Northen Water Problems Mikhail Zobkov presented the research project "Prediction of water quality of water bodies in Karelia on the characteristics of their catchment areas using GIS modeling." The seminars are aimed at developing an interdisciplinary approach in the research of young scientists of Karelia.

February 11, 2015 Deputy Director for Science of Institute of Economics of Karelian Research Centre of RAS E. Zhirnel joined the Interbranch Consumer Council at the Head of the Republic of Karelia on the activities of natural monopolies. The first meeting of the Interbranch Council, chaired by the Head of Karelia A. Khudilainen was held on February 10, 2015.

February 10, 2015 Research associate of Institute of Economics Karelian Research Centre A. Guchek participated in a joint meeting of the Youth Government and the Youth Parliament of the Republic of Karelia with the First Deputy Head of the Republic of Karelia on economic policy Oleg Gromov.

February 6, 2015, Deputy Director for Science E. Zhirnel and Scientific secretary of the Institute of Economics of Karelian Research Centre of Russian Academy of Sciences L. Kulakov held information seminar in the framework of the Federal Program "You are entrepreneur" in the Derzhavin Lyceum of Petrozavodsk and spoke about the goals and objectives of the program in Karelia. The event was attended by Deputy Director for educational work, the teacher of the highest category V. Yagovzik. The seminar was attended by 10th grade students of Derzhavin Lyceum who expressed interest in the topic of youth entrepreneurship.

February 5, 2015 The KarRC RAS Institute of Economics participated in a joint meeting of the Presidium of the Karelian Research Centre and the Scientific Council of Petrozavodsk State University, dedicated to the Day of Russian Science.
